"it's a small world" at Disneyland Paris
What better way to celebrate Bastille Day than by listening to odds and ends of Disneyland Paris audio? First, though, we have a few words about the re-naming and new backstory for Prince Charming Carrousel in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Parents, be warned! This one gets kinda weird.
Shocking as it may sound, when Lisa and Trace visited the newly butch Prince Charming Carousel last weekend, it didn’t seem to have changed at all! Here’s the photographic evidence gathered on their visit:

Thank you. Thank you. I knew I could count on you to have the same thoughts about the “ring spearing”, “lance in hand”, and “happy ending” that I did when I first read the new “back”story.
It all fits in amazingly well with the theme for GayDays 2011, Cowboys & Cowgirls. Disney synergy rocks!!
I have to say that the new name Sucks. My favourite ride too. Did Disney even think to ask any boys if this was what they wanted? My son and husband still won’t like the carousel any more than they do right now. For my husband that means not at all, my son, well he is only 8 months old so he who knows what he will like.
I agree with the whatchamacallit, Adventure land and fronteer land is for the boys, let us girls have our princesses.

I was walking to/from class listening to this one…you have no idea how close I came to busting out laughing when you were commenting about the lance in the hand and the happy ending. Great show!
